At Sable, our surfaces are quite simply unrivalled. We only use the highest quality materials to ensure quality, style, and longevity for your purchase. You can select from a large range of Finger-joint block timber, all of which are treated with oil to add a layer of protection and enhance the natural colours of the timber in all their glory. Alternatively, our high density, solid surfaces give the ability to design furniture with a range of striking modern patterns and materials. Finally, for those after a true one of a kind, statement piece, we offer our Live Edge Timber furniture. Every live edge furniture top is different. A single slice of timber that demonstrates all of its beauty, shown through its perfectly natural edges.
Built to Last
Framework
Each piece of Sable furniture stands upon an elegant and robust, fully welded steel framework. We use large format cold rolled, box section steel, with an impressive 2mm thick wall to create a steel framework that is built to last for generations. Our 60 years of manufacturing in the UK, enable us to harness the art of using traditional materials, along with the assurance of using today’s leading technologies.
Each frame starts life as a fully rendered 3D CAD drawing. Our tube is then precision laser cut before being robotically tig welded to create a perfect and discrete seam between tube sections. Finally, the framework is passed through a stringent quality assessment and is prepared by hand for the powder coating process.
Finishing Touch
Paint Finish
Every piece of Sable metalwork is powder coated in our own, in-house 300-metre-long powder coating plant. Our newly fitted totally automated plant, has brought our painting process up to date with the most cutting-edge technology available. This guarantees that we deliver a perfect paint finish on every piece of furniture that we make. All the powder that we use is sourced from suppliers registered with ISO, the British Coating Federation and Coatings Care. By using these we ensure that quality and sustainability are provided with every colour and finish.
Precision Engineering
Storage
Sable storage units lean on 30 years of development and manufacturing of high end steel storage solutions in the UK. Every unit is manufactured using the UK’s leading technology, where precision engineering leads every process. Utilising the same cabinets supplied to British Formula 1 racing teams. Each storage unit is fully welded, features high quality ball bearing drawer slides, and comes with a central locking mechanism with anti-tilt technology. The quality invested into our storage units makes Sable storage not only a pleasure to look at but also a pleasure to use.
